The site is forested and a previous house was located near Rice Road. No construction has occurred at the property.

The project's purpose is to construct a thirty-one lot subdivision in Matthews, NC. The project will provide much needed housing for residents of Matthews.
4i. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: *
The site plan has been modified once to meet the requirements proposed by the Town of Matthews. This new revision of the site plan is due to changes to construction techniques for the
headwall design plan. The headwalls are needed to decrease additional impacts to the stream. The site plan will still consist of the embedded rip rap apron at the inlets of the culverts. The
road crossing location was chosen due to the presence of an underground reach of stream that the Corps concurred was not a potential Waters of the US. 111 linear feet will be impacted
for culvert installation. This revision will continue to not impact wetlands onsite. Large machinery will be required to complete the site design.
