In response to the Notice of Violation Nov-2023-LM-0065 We offer the following;
The ammonia spikes occurred during an unforeseen (and soon resolved) change in
personnel at the plant. By the time the ORC had received the results and could clean
out the contact chambers the month was over. Therefore it was too late to collect an
extra sample for the month.
On the day of the Temperature Violation. The operator was out sick on Friday the 23'd
The Quarterly samples were a miss communication between the Lab and the ORC. The
Lab now has a copy of the permit and the ORC has it Schedule as a reminder to notify
him and the Lab.
The Town would appreciate any thoughts of waiving any penalties. Thank you in
advance for helping.
