FACILITY SUMMARY
Jones Estates Pace LLC operates a 100% domestic wastewater treatment plant for 135 residents. The Pace
Mobile Home Park WWTP is a minor facility (flow < 1 MGD) with a design capacity and permitted
wastewater discharge of 0.015 MGD. The original NPDES permit for this facility was issued in December
1985. This facility received SOC S22-004, which became effective on June 1, 2023 and expires on February
15, 2024. This facility utilizes the following treatment components:

COMPLIANCE HISTORY
Pace Mobile Home Park WWTP has had multiple fines and limit and monitoring violations from August
2018 to September 2023. The facility is currently under SOC effective 6/l/2023. This facility has an unpaid
and overdue permit annual fee for period year 2023. Most recent inspection (June 2023) showed the facility
to be in noncompliance.
COMMENTS ON DRAFT PERMIT
• Cheng Zhang (Raleigh Regional Office, Environmental Specialist II) noted that the plant is
currently under rehabilitation, and he made several edits in the treatment components section on the
Supplement to Permit Cover Sheet.
