Subject: Proposed Deed of Boat Slip #36 at Stella Landing Community Dock
I am writing to inform you that the proposed boat slip #36 at Stella Landing Community
Dock is to be deeded to the Homeowners Association. This proposal would be
documented by covenant and would ensure that the boat slip is used for the benefit of
the community.
The Stella Landing Community Dock is a private community dock with no marina
services and is located on the White Oak River in Carteret County. The dock would be
owned and maintained by the Stella Landing Homeowners Association. The association
consists of a total of 35 lots and there are 36 boat slips, which are available for each
property owner and boat slip #36 would be the common slip for the community use.
South State Development proposed deeded boat slip #36 to the Stella Landing
Homeowners Association is in the best interests of the community. The deed will ensure
that the boat slip is used for the benefit of all members of the association.
