Good morning,
I have received the Catawba River Buffer form and the Agent Authorization form, but we are
still waiting for the information requested in our first email, see below:
• Please use the shoreline sketch form and show the length of the shoreline and the
actual square footage of impacts both below the high-water mark and above
• Please explain why you need to disturb 4000 square feet above the high-water mark,
the aerial Polaris shows trees within Zone 1 of the Catawba River 30-foot buffer. Yoe
are not allowed to remove any trees larger than 3" caliper in Zone 1 of the buffer
except for those trees along the shoreline that are undercut and need to be removed to
do the shoreline stabilization. Zone 1 is measured from the high-water mark of Lake
Wylie landward 30'.
• Please clarify on how only 400 square feet of disturbance will occur below the high-
water line
• Please provide photographs of the existing conditions along the shoreline
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you
Michael B

Hi Michael this is Andrea Wagner inquiring about the Wagner retaining wall project. You had sent forms for us to fill out
and I returned the forms. I haven't heard anything since then. I signed the agent form for Wes Bradley to be our agent. I
also signed the buffer form and I believe Wes submitted some sketches. What are we missing? This is just for wall
replacement because our current retaining wall is failing. We are not changing anything as far as the property lines are
moving any trees or anything.

Craig,
Your application for shoreline stabilization is incomplete. To complete our review,
we need the following information:
• Need a signed Buffer Notification Form (attached)
• Please use the shoreline sketch form and show the length of the shoreline
and the actual square footage of impacts both below the high-water mark
and above (attached)
• Please explain why you need to disturb 4000 square feet above the high-
water mark, the aerial Polaris shows trees within Zone 1 of the Catawba
River 30-foot buffer. You are not allowed to remove any trees larger than
3" caliper in Zone 1 of the buffer except for those trees along the
shoreline that are undercut and need to be removed to do the shoreline
stabilization. Zone 1 is measured from the high-water mark of Lake Wylie
landward 30'.
• Please clarify on how only 400 square feet of disturbance will occur below
the high-water line
• Please provide photographs of the existing conditions along the shoreline
You will need to electronically update this application. Please follow the link
below to our 'Supplemental Information Form'. Your project type will be "More
Information Response" and fill out the form including your Existing ID # which will
be the DWR # for that project. If you have any questions, please let me know.
