SUBJECT: Fishing Creek Farm Lagoon Volume Estimates

Fishing Creek Farm, AWS420002, has requested assistance to close their lagoons, convert them to freshwater
ponds and file to have their permit rescinded with DWR. A site visit was conducted to survey volumes of waste
in both lagoons and collect liquid and sludge waste samples from each lagoon. Waste samples were delivered
to the NCDA&CS Agronomics laboratory for analysis and results will be provided at a later date. Please find
attached liquid and sludge volume estimates for each lagoon based on lagoon levels at the time of survey on
September 14, 2023 and lagoon designs. Liquid volumes in each lagoon will need to be adjusted for the closure
plan to reflect liquid waste transferred between lagoons to assist in creating a slurry for land application.
