Effluent samples were collected for use in a chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia pass -fail toxicity test. The test Passed utilizing these samples. Please inform the facility's Operator -in -Responsible Charge (ORC) of our findings by forwarding the enclosed report. Myers Environmental Specialist II, Aquatic Toxicology Branch (ATB) Subject: Whole effluent toxicity test results Long Creek WWTP NPDES Permit # NCO020184/001 Gaston County The aquatic toxicity test using flow -proportional composite samples of effluent discharged from the Long Creek WWTP has been completed. Long Creek WWTP has a permitted effluent discharge of 16.0 million gallons per day (MGD) entering South Fork Catawba River (7Q10 of 109 CFS). Whole effluent samples were collected on August 22 and August 24 by Wes Bell for use in a chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia pass -fail toxicity test. The test passed. Toxicity test information follows.
