Dear Mr. Dyer:
The Division of Water Resources has received and considered your request for exemption from flow
proportional composite sampling. In accordance with your exemption request and Part II, Section A, of
the permit, SIP Hidden Forest, LLC is hereby authorized to collect all composite samples required by the
permit using a constant time/constant volume sampling regimen. Please note that all aliquots must be
collected over a full 24-hour period and must also be collected at time intervals not to exceed 20 minutes
in length. Additionally, all aliquots must be of the same size and of no less than 100 milliliters each.
A copy of this letter will be required during all compliance evaluation inspections to demonstrate
authorization to use a constant time/constant volume sampling regime. Please ensure that plant
operators get a copy of this letter and always maintain it on site at the wastewater treatment plant.
