This project is to replace an existing Log & Timber Bridge at Cashie Branch on Clubhouse Road in the Balsam Mountain
Perserve Subdivision located near the Town of Sylva, Jackson County, NC. This is a private bridge located in a private
residentail subdivision. The general land use is residential. The stream frontage impact is approximately 24 linear feet.
See attached Sketches S -1 through S -7.

This project is to replace an existing private vehicular bridge with a new concrete or steel bridge.

Remove the existing private Log & Timber Bridge and bridge abutment walls and install a new precast concrete bridge
(Option 1). Install new precast concrete abutment walls, and wing walls on each side of Cashie Bench for the new bridge
