Dear Valued DAK Americas LLC Customer and Supplier,
This letter is to inform you that as of September 1, 2023, the legal entity of DAK Americas LLC has officially changed its
name to Alpek Polyester USA, LLC.
This change represents only a name change of the legal entity. There will not be any changes in the official Tax
Identification Number (EIN), Tax address, or bank accounts. All will remain the same and will not change. The official
Alpek Polyester logo as seen at the top of this letter and the entity name of Alpek Polyester USA, LLC and address as seen
at the bottom of this letter will now be used on all formal business formerly transacted as DAK Americas LLC.
This name change expands the use of our global Alpek Polyester° brand across all regions of the world. This action is part
of a long-term strategy to migrate all official legal entities to the Alpek Polyester brand. The legal name changes and use
of the Alpek Polyester° logo on documentation is the next step in our global initiative in the same manner that many years
ago we transitioned our email domains to @alpekpolyester.com for all employees in all regions, and the recent release of
our global website www.alpekpolyester.com.
How will this corporate name change impact your customer or vendor relationship with Alpek Polyester?
The name change should not impact your continued relationship with Alpek Polyester but will require you to make the
necessary updates in your systems to reflect the name change to Alpek Polyester USA, LLC. Attached hereto is the updated
W9 and formal registration showing the name change for your records. Please use this information to make the necessary
changes ASAP in your system to ensure continuity.
