The Division of Water Resources received your sludge survey information on September 05, 2023.
With the survey results, you requested an extension of the sludge survey requirement for the lagoon
1 & 2 at the Harry Hart Farm facility. Due to the amount of treatment volume available, and the
rate of sludge accumulation for the lagoon, the Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed
for Lagoon 1 until December 31, 2024 and not needed for Lagoon 2 until December 31, 2028.
The next sludge survey for the lagoon 1 at Harry Hart Farm should be performed before December
31, 2024 and lagoon 2 should be performed before December 31, 2028. Please retain this letter
and keep it with your farm records for reference.
