The Division of Water Resources received your sludge survey information on September 05, 2023.
With the survey results, you requested an extension of the sludge survey requirement for the
lagoon 1 at Lafayette-3 Farm Facility. Due to the amount of treatment volume available, and the
rate of sludge accumulation for the lagoon, the Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed
for lagoon 1 until December 31, 2028.
The next sludge survey for the lagoon 1 at Lafayette-3 Farm should be performed before
December 31, 2028. Please retain this letter and keep it with your farm records for reference.
