The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Genesis Condominiums
WWTP on 8/24/2023. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in
compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0006863. The
findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection
report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
A routine compliance inspection of the Genesis WWTF was conducted on August 24, 2023. The purpose of the evaluation
was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit WQ0006863.
Don O'Mara — ORC was present during the inspection.
The Genesis WWTF is permitted for 24,000 GPD and consists of:
• 12,000 gallon EQ tank
• Two 15,000 gallon sequencing batch reactors (SBR)
• 3,400 gallon sludge holding tank
• Three 40 GPM ultraviolet (UV) disinfection units
• 3,000 gallon dosing chamber
• high -rate infiltration disposal via two 44foot diameter rotary distributors
The dual Sequencing Batch Reactor system peaked at approximately 9,000 gpd this summer season, less than half of the
24,000 gpd of permitted flow.
A review of records, since the last inspection in June 2019, shows no effluent violations and some TDS limit exceedances in
Monitoring Wells #1 and #4.
The facility is compliant with Non -Discharge Permit WQ0006863. Please review the comment sections of the inspection
