Magellan Terminals Holdings, L.P. ("MTH"), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Magellan Midstream
Partners, L.P. ("Magellan") has maintained the referenced National Pollutant Discharge System (NPDES)
Permit at the Charlotte I Terminal. As announced on June 10, 2021, MTH agreed to sell its independent
terminals to Buckeye Partners, L.P. ("Buckeye"). Regulatory approvals required to consummate the
transaction were received on June 1, 2022.
As a result of the transaction, MTH was renamed "Buckeye SE Terminals LP", and Buckeye Terminals
LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Buckeye, acquired all of the outstanding equity interests of Buckeye
SE Terminals LP and its general partner from Magellan on June 8, 2022. At that time, permit responsibility,
coverage and liability became the responsibility of Buckeye SE Terminals LP and its general partner, which
are wholly owned subsidiaries of Buckeye.
This correspondence along with the attached forms are intended to provide the State with the required notice
