Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): Shape and slope shoreline, install new matting, install boulder rip rap 4' above full pond to help control erosion occurring due to the steepness of the bank. Above the rip rap in the 30' buffer zone, install an upper and lower Allen Block wall to replace 2 wood walls that have disintegrated and are allowing erosion and run off to occur due the steepness of the buffer. Matting and mulch will be installed from the top of the rip rap and extend upward 148' into buffer and beyond to help prevent and control erosion and run off. No trees will have to be removed in the buffer to install retaining walls. 8. How will the work be done?* From Land From Water 9. Total amount of disturbance below the normal pool lake level/ normal water level: (including all clearing, back fill, excavation, rip rap, retaining walls, etc.) 6' below (1248 sf) square feet 10. Total amount of disturbance above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet land- ward: * (including all clearing, back fill, excavation, rip rap, retaining walls, etc.) 4' above on shoreline (832 sf) Retaining walls in buffer (270 sf each for total of 540 sf) square feet 11. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet landward to be impacted:* (number of trees, for instance) Grass buffer, remove trees/shrubs on the immediate shoreline at the right and left hand side of shoreline.
