The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Division 8 is proposing corridor improvements on N.C. 5 (Beulah Hill Road) to add turn lanes, signal improvements, and other operational
improvements from Trotter Drive/Blake Boulevard to N.C. 211 in Pinehurst in Moore County, NC. The project is included in NCDOT’s 2024-2033 STIP. Please reference the attached start
of study materials for additional information.

NCDOT staff or their consultants may be contacting you to request project-specific information. Your input will be used in the development of environmental documentation prepared pursuant
to the State Environmental Policy Act. If applicable, please identify any permits or approvals which may be required by your organization.
