According to the request for authorization this activity will occur in the south bound lane and will be completed utilizing a vibratory hammer. This e- mail serves as authorization from DCM to proceed with the proposed work as described in your authorization request. The moratorium on in-water work for Primary Nursery Areas (PNA) will remain in place at this site should additional in-water work be required. If any additional in-water work is necessary during the moratorium, please contact DCM for approval. This will be done utilizing a vibratory hammer and each pile will take about 10 minutes. Do you all have any objection to his proposal? They would like to conduct this work on Thursday or Friday of this week. I have attached a map for a reminder of bridge location # 10, Pain Creek Canal, in Dare County.
