Typical Cross Section Description: The existing typical section for this project is 11' lanes with a 2' grassed shoulder. The proposed typical section for this project is 11' lanes with a 2' grassed shoulder. Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: NA Year: Existin NA Year: General Project Narrative: The purpose of the project is to replace an existing pipe on Burnt Mill Road with a new pipe. The existing pipe is a 36" X 50' reinforced concrete pipe with approximately an 8' (Description of Minimization of Water additional section of pipe on the inlet side that has collapsed. There are two sections of the proposed pipe. The first section of the proposed pipe is a 72" X 52' and the second Quality Impacts) section of proposed pipe is 96"X 8' for a total of 60' of pipe. The proposed pipe will have a notched sill (2' high sill, and 1' low flow notch for low flow) at the inlet, middle and outlet of the pipe with welded headwalls. The pipe will be buried l' below the stream bed. The project is located in the Randleman buffer and impacts two unnamned tributaries to West Fork Deep River (Class IVI. The existing stormwater sheet flows off of the roadway. The existing stormater design will not be altered by the pipe replacement.
