Permit Renewal Application Addendum
Dear Dr. Chernikov:
As noted in the May 31, 2023 NPDES permit renewal application, Outfall 002 operates seasonally (during
warmer weather typically May to October) based on the Evaporative Cooling System (ECS) being placed
into operation. Samples for the permit application were unable to be collected at the time of the May 31,
2023 submittal, since the ECS was not in operation. The ECS went into operation this summer and
samples were collected on July 12, 2023. The results of this sampling event are on the enclosed Form 2C.
