Inspection Summary:
I spoke with Marcus Curran (Blythe)and Donald Pearson (Summit) about the basins and outfalls shown on the site map and
looked at the bain and outfalls on the site. The following Changes and clarifications were made concerning the facility basins
and outfalls.
Basin #1-Drains directly to the onsite pond and will remain
Basin #2- Not constructed and will not be constructed (This area also drains directly to the onsite pond)
Outfall #1 outlets directly to the onsite pond
Outfall #2 outlets directly to the onsite pond
Outfall #3 is located across the Interstate from the batch plant and discharges runoff from from the onsite pond and multiple
other areas off site.
The onsite pond will be the one and only sample outlet for the permitted batch plant site as the pond captures all runoff from
the site.
If any water is taken from the pond, it will be used to water down onsite stockpiles only. If water is needed from the onsite
pond to water any part of the overall project not related to the batch plant, the pond must be sampled for ph, TSS & non
polar oil and grease and found to be below the bench mark limits before water is used.

Comment: I reviewed the outfall as shown on the map and found that outfall outfall #3 was not on the site,
but across the interstate. That outfall will be removed as a sample point. Basin 10.4 will not be
installed, therefore there is no sample point there. Basin 10.1 will remain but discharges into
onsite pond. All areas of the site discharge into onsite pond
