The new commercial development will be located on a portion of PIN 5507-96-6061. The new parcel will be approximately 1.27 acres. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS The project site is located in the Town of Harrisburg Permitting Jurisdiction. As such, the stormwater management requirements are as follows: 1 . Peak discharge control for the lyr-24hr and 10yr-24hr storm events. 2. Discharge storage volume at a rate equal to or less than the predevelopment discharge rate for the lyr-24hr storm. 3. Minimum of 85% average annual removal for total suspended solids. The NCDEQ Storm water Design Manualwas used as the basis for the water quality BMP design. A wet detention pond is proposed to provide the required treatment for the proposed improvements. EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS The total site acreage is 1 .27 acres with young vegetation, small trees and patchy groundcover. ENGINEERINGOAK PROPOSED SITE CONDITIONS The proposed improvements will include a new 10,987-sf pet boarding facility and vehicular parking. These improvements will add approximately 31,747-sf of new BUA to the site, totaling approximately 36,723-sf of BUA (66.4%). These improvements will be treated for water quantity and water quality control by the proposed wet pond. The wet pond is sized to treat future development to the south of the Pet Suites parcel. This off-site area is approximately 1 .76 acres and an assumed 75% impervious.
