Response to NC Sewer Comments

1. In Item 1, Mr. McDaniel’s name is spelled wrong, and the email address that was provided was
wrong.
Revised and sheet enclosed.
2. Item IX.1 was not checked. Checked
3. Item IX.3 was checked “No” for meeting wetland separation requirements. The narrative states
that a portion of the line will be within 50’ of wetlands, and DIP will be used.
a. Please confirm that this portion will meet Water Main Standards, as required in 15A NCAC
02T .0305(G)(6)
Yes the DIP will meet water standards.
b. Also, will there be any manholes that will be within 50’ of the wetlands? No

4. The USGS map that was provided doesn’t appear to indicate where the project is, and the
topography and nearby water bodies should be visible. Also, as stated in the Instruction F of the
application, the map should be of sufficient scale, and the general location of the project
components should be shown on this map, as well as the downstream connection point.
