The Washington Regional Office has reviewed the Additional Information Report submitted for
the permit modification which was submitted to the Regional Office on March 27, 2002. After
review of the additional information, the following comments are for your consideration:
1. To ensure vertical separation requirements are met for waste application activities, the Section
may want to consider requesting a permanent piezometer well(s) be installed.
2. Comments made in a memorandum from C.J. Welti, dated April 15, 2002, still apply.
