HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE_ Chatham Bridge 94 Buffer Authorization Form_94 signedRyan, I think that this form may have been previously signed and submitted. But I can’t find the signed copy in my records. I also have a couple of questions. Is this form 94 still the proper form? If so, and there are no changes to the data, can I sign and date this form and resubmit it? There will be no in water work anticipated to construct this project. There are no in water bents that need to be removed from the existing bridge and the new structure will be a complete span of the stream channel. There are also no wetland impacts anticipated. Based on those issues there should be no 404-permit required for this project. Do we still need to submit a PCN if there is also no buffer mitigation required? And, if we do require mitigation can we just request the ILF without the PCN? Thanks, Art C. Based on the timing from the last submission (2017), an updated buffer authorization form along with the NW3 for the record only request should be submitted for this project. The attached form does not appear to be signed or dated. Let me know what additional assistance I can provide. I believe the attached buffer authorization form was submitted back when April Norton was our DWR rep. As I recall, it was approved. At that time the buffer impacts were mostly attributed to the relocation/upgrade of a water line along the roadway by the utility contractor hired by Chatham County. The relocation was considered as an independent project and not considered part of the future bridge project. The bridge project itself will most likely qualify as either “no permit required” or, a non-reporting NWP #3 because there is no in water work or wetland impacts anticipated during construction. This project was put on hold due to budget issues but, has now been put back on the schedule for a possible October 2023 let date. We need to know if the authorization is still valid or do we need any additional approvals or authorizations.
