RECEIVED, AUG 3 0.2007 August 29, 2007 Mr. Eddie Goodrich ®WQ`WAR® KDHW` fP, LLC PO Box 3629 Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 RE: Site Plan Approval for Proposed 3,000 Square Foot Addition to Wings, 1405 South Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, Dare County, NC Dear Eddie, This letter is sent to you to make you aware that IG Holdings, LLC, is moving forward with plans to add 3000 square feet of additional retail space to the existing Wings store in Kill Devil Hills. The Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners, at their November 10, 2003 meeting, unanimously approved the addition at the southern side of the parcel, which was never constructed. The new proposal changes the location of the addition to the northern end of the existing building. This item is on the Sept. 18, 2007, KDH Planning Board Agenda. Please be aware that Wings is not adding any additional employees or any public restrooms and 'we do not believe that this addition will generate additional wastewater flow in excess of their allocation. The original allocation for this site was approximately 1100 gpd and we have water use data showing that the summer averages for 2005 and 2006 were around 370 gpd. Enclosed is an e-mail dated October 10, 2003 in which AI Hodge, DENR, agreed with our conclusion that the retail addition will not add any additional wastewater to the treatment plant and the water usage data for the site beginning in May, 2001. We anticipate construction of this project to begin later this fall or early this winter provide us with admowledgement_of_this-project -and-that-you Board Meeting? He is currently served by the Kill Devil Wastewater Treatment plant (former OBBC).. He is not adding any additional employees or any public restrooms and we don't believe that this addition will generate more wastewater flow. His original allocation was about 1100 gpd and we have water use data showing that his summer averages are less than 300 gpd. We are currently seeking approval from the Town Planning Department. I anticipate that construction would begin in the late fall or early winter.
