Written com- ments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date of this notice. The Director of the NC Division of Water Re- sources (DWR) may hold a public hearing should there be a significant degree of public interest. The Town of Roper requested renewal of permit NCO036315 for its Roper WWTP (107 Fountain of Life Blvd, Roper) in Pasquotank County. This permitted facili- ty discharges treated domestic wastewater to Main Canal into Kendrick Creek in the Pasquotank River Ba- sin. Currently, BOD5, NH3, dissolved ox- ygen, total residual chlorine, and fecal co- liform are water quality limited. August 16, 2023 2376
