8.1 Describe the nature of your business.
The Facility is located in a mixed industrial area southeast of the intersection of Wilco Boulevard and Contentnea
Road in Wilson, North Carolina. The facility occupies approximately 12.25 acres and consists of a 2.5-acre storm
water retention/containment pond, truck loading rack and associated scale, one 4,000-square-foot two-story office
building, one 800-square-foot boiler room, two railroad spurs, and several aboveground storage tanks (ASTs).
Principle operations of the Facility include the receipt, storage and distribution of liquid asphalt cement (paving
asphalt). Asphalt cement is principally received at the terminal by rail car at the rail spurs bordering the facility to the
west. Product is then transferred via aboveground product piping to the bulk ASTs. Upon demand, asphalt cement is
then directed to the loading racks for final distribution.
