STORMWATER WETLAND #1 IS AN EXISTING STORMWATER BMP AND WAS OVER DESIGNED IN ANTICIPATION OF FUTURE EXPANSION TO THE FACILITY (REFERENCE PREVIOUS STORMWATER DESIGN CALCULATIONS BY S &EC DATED OCTOBER 27, 2004). USING THE ORIGINAL DESIGN METHODS THIS WETLAND IS ADEQUATELY SIZED TO ACCOMMODATE THE PROPOSED EXPANSION WITH THE PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO THE RISER AND EMERGENCY SPILLWAY AS SHOWN ON CURRY ENGINEERING, APPROVED SITE PLANS DATED 10/01/2013. THESE MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED FOR 431,458 SF OF IMPERVIOUS HOWEVER, FIELD REVISIONS HAVE DECREASED THE IMPERVIOUS AREA TO 392,022 SF (SEE MASTER SITE PLAN, SHEET C -04). 2. IN THE 2013 ANALYSIS PERFORMED BY CURRY ENGINEERING A WEIGHTED CURVE NUMBER WAS CALCULATED ON A SOIL WEIGHTED BASIS. THE ENTIRE DRAINAGE AREA FOR STORMWATER WETLAND #1 WAS ASSUMED TO BE COMPOSED ENTIRELY OF HYDROLOGIC GROUP C SOILS. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE DRAINAGE AREA IS COMPOSED OF HYDROLOGIC GROUP B & C SOILS. SEE STORM WATER CALCULATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SOILS MAP. THIS RESULTED IN A SMALLER POST - DEVELOPMENT CURVE NUMBER. 3. THE COMBINATION OF REDUCING THE IMPERVIOUS AREA DRAINING TO THE WETLAND AND A LOWER, MORE ACCURATE CURVE NUMBER RESULT IN POST - DEVELOPMENT FLOW RATES THAT ARE LOWER THAN PRE - DEVELOPMENT FLOW RATES. SEE TABLES BELOW AND CURRY ENGINEERING STORMWATER DESIGN CALCULATIONS DATED 07/01/2015. 4.
