1) Shoreline and Buffer Impact
Shoreline: Homeowner requests replacement of riprap along parts of the shoreline to
prevent further erosion. Also, requesting repair of approximately 70 ft of failing seawall (in
and around the dock area).
Buffer: Buffer consists of a grassy yard only.
2) Temporary Access Impacts
Homeowner requests one temporary access corridor. Viewing from the home, the
temporary access corridor will be on the right side of the house.
Zone 1 passage: Impact to grassy yard. 30 x 6 = 180
Zone 2 passage: Impact to grassy yard. 20 x 6 = 120
Along Shoreline: 200 x 6 = 1200
TOTAL TEMPORARY: 1500 SQFT
3) Restoration Plan
Temporary: If necessary, prior to permanent restoration, property owner will place straw
and/or rye immediately after project completion to stabilize property and prepare for
permanent restoration.
Permanent: Property owner is responsible in restoring and replanting with comparable
vegetation within 2 months of job completion. Also, property owner will maintain and monitor
all newly planted vegetation, to ensure the health for long term existence.
