Dear Mr. Lancaster,
This correspondence is in reference to your letter dated August 10, 2023, for the monitoring of the temporary impacts
associated with Onslow Bridge 134 over Gibson Branch, located in Onslow County, North Carolina.
TheNorthCarolinaDepartment of Transportation has monitored the temporary impact sites annually for three
growing seasons, with visual vegetation monitoring conducted each year. On August 1, 2023 and August 10, 2023
respective site visits by USACE and NCDWR were conducted. It was determined that the site success criteria had
been met and that no further monitoring would be required.
By copy ofthis letter, we are notifying you that no further monitoring ofthis site will be required since the construction
and success criteria for this mitigation site have been met.
