Since this is a low-density project, the stormwater will be treated with dispersed flow and
vegetated conveyance swales. The residential subdivision will have 27 lots (40,000 SF min
area), Both roads are ribbon streets.
Road ditches will have a 4:1 side slope. This project proposed grading the road only. There
are some wetlands on site that will be impacted by this project; 401/404 permits will be
submitted for approval.
This site will be served with onsite sewer systems and Moore County Water.
Pipes under lot driveways will be minimized and will be installed only if needed. There are 1
culvert proposed to cross under Pewter Drive and 2 culverts under Road 2.
All swales will have Bermuda Grass or equal and the velocities are less than 4.5 fps. The
swales will have adequate liners to control the shear stresses until grass is established.
