On April 5, 2023,your office issued NOV-2023-PC-0132 to the City of Kings Mountain's Stormwater Department,
NPDES MS4 Permit No. NCS000529.
1. We have received the N.O.V. and acknowledge the validity of the Notice. Please accept this letter as
proof of our intent to comply with the N.O.V.and bring our Stormwater Management Program up to the
required standards.
2. City Council will adopt a Resolution by June 5 declaring support for a compliant Stormwater Management
Program.
3. A Draft SWMP will be submitted by August 5 with the required detailed actions.
Once the Draft SWMP has been reviewed and deemed compliant by DEQ,the Stormwater Department will submit
the Final,adopted SWMP.
