Dear Mr. Becker,
In a letter dated June 30, 2023, you were notified of two measurement frequency violations (pH and Total
Residual Chlorine) for the monitoring review period February 2023. Correspondence received from Joe
Peirce on July 24, 2023, informed this office that the required measurement frequencies (five times per
week) for pH and Total Residual Chlorine were met for the week ending February 4, 2023. Jim Westcott
of this office verified the required parameters were monitored and reported as required. Therefore, Aqua
North Carolina Inc incurred no monitoring violations of these parameters during the monitoring period
reviewed.
After communicating with Mr. Pierce and reviewing the submitted monitoring report for February 2023,
this office has determined that the subject facility is not in violation of the self -monitoring requirement of
its Non -Discharge permit, and the NOV letter dated June 30, 2023, against WQ0000088 is hereby
rescinded.
I appreciate Mr. Pierce communicating with our office about this discrepancy and have updated our files
