Mr. Tankard:
In response to NOV-2023-LV-0324, over the past few months we have made great progress in
our efforts to become and sustain complete compliance in our effluent concentrations being discharged
and to hopefully see improvements in Monitoring Well concentrations. We have made progress in
decreasing the transference of sludge throughout the plant by cleaning the FEQ tanks, Chain of Flights in
Phases 1 & 3, Reactor Dosing and Mudwell. Sean Robey is making the necessary repairs to the Penn
Valley pump piping and Chain of Flights. Chemical feed as well as process adjustments are continuing. A
more detailed update will be sent in the upcoming weeks which will include projects being worked on and
plan of improvements. Our efforts will continue and would request that any fines be reduced or possibly
be removed to utilize the funds to continue making the necessary corrections and improvements within
the system.
