Give complete description: A 330' by 9' timber framed pedestrian bridge will be constructed to cross the tidal wetland/creek adjacent to the berth along the Cape Fear River. The constructed tidal creek will be dry at NLW (NLW 0.8' below creek bed at bridge location. The height of the proposed bridge will range from 1.5 to 4.5' above the wetland substrate, depending upon location. The proposed pedestrian boardwalk/bridge will not affect existing water flow nor affect navigation. The foot bridge will be be built across constructed tidal wetland and 160 sf of existing tidal wetland being enhanced. A combination of floating sediment baffles, silt fence, drainage inlet protection will control erosion during construction. Construction sequencing will also be used to minimize duration of disturbance at the site.
