I thought that I or Brad discussed this with you, but I could be mistaken. You really don't have to have a PJD Letter. Based on the site visit you, Katharine and I did last year, we were comfortable with the wetland boundaries you delineated and also agreed that all of these wetlands were tidally influenced and thus were coastal wetlands. So we can just move forward now with the permit review process. But if you want I PJD Letter, I can do that. Just not sure ow soon I can get to this. Just let me know. As you'll recall we walked the site and wetland areas last September. We have submitted our CAMA Major permit application and DCM is reviewing the documents. The USACE's review of the attached PJD would be helpful in the review process. Please note the wetlands on -site are tidally influenced and are dominated by Typha, Phragmites, and Distichlis. We have concluded these areas are designated as coastal wetlands. Please let me know if you have time today to review and discuss. As a follow up to the voicemail I left for you this afternoon, I wanted to let you know we are submitting the Living with Water CAMA application this week, on behalf of the Battleship North Carolina. I understand DCM will review the application and then send it your way pending requests for additional information. One item I wanted to review with you is the preliminary jurisdictional determination we completed last fall and provided to you. These areas were reviewed on our site visit September 17t" with DCM/USACE. These wetland areas are included in the attached permit drawings and are proposed for enhancement within the restoration area. If you and/or Brad have some time to review and discuss on a call later this week or next? We are meeting onsite with DCM tomorrow at 1 pm if you have availability and would like to join us.
