Thanks Alicia! I greatly appreciate your diligence in sending the reports and providing updates of
project status. You have our approval to discontinue sending monitoring reports to the Corps. We
consider Special Condition 4 of the NWP 12 verification dated 7/11/2022, and Special Condition 5 of
the NWP 12/13 verification dated 3/13/2023, to be in compliance for this project. If, however, issues
arise with activities involving aquatic resources on this project please keep us in the loop.

crossings have been completed and the overall project construction is about 95% complete. Then

we'll have to wait for the permanent vegetation to get established to gain approval from DEMLR to
remove ESC measures which may take several months. Would you like to continue to receive the bi-

For the Shotwell Road HDD modification and Streambank Stabilization work, we should now have all
necessary environmental permits acquired. We submitted the 404 and 401 approvals to DEMLR for
their records per the condition of their ESC modification approval and we received a floodplain
permit from the Town of Clayton for the stream stabilization.

Attached is the most recent bi-weekly status report for the subject project.
Additionally, attached are photos of the stream bank requiring stabilization. My understanding is
that the submar mat would only be applied to the stream bank and not applied within the stream
channel.
Lastly, the PCN was submitted today for the proposed modifications and the stream bank

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Please find the attached bi-weekly report for the
subject project which includes photos of stream crossings where pipeline installation has been
completed.
Additionally, I sent the attached email on November 18th regarding our proposed project
modifications in addition to a small proposed streambank restoration effort. Please advise on the
preferred method for submitting a modification to the existing permits and authorizations- whether
to resubmit the PCN application or provide the necessary documents via email to each office (Corps
and DWR). Also, with the proposed streambank restoration work to be completed under non -
reporting Nationwide Permit 13- Bank Stabilization, are there any written approvals required from
DWR?
