No, we usually refer the pond owner to the NCSU extension service since most of them are private ponds (not state
waters) and they are more up to date on the current herbicides and application rates. We do have an aquatic weed
control program under Rob Emens who works on public water but will help private citizens upon request and if you can
catch him. He usually pretty tied up during field season. Here is a link to his program.
