About +\- 1.0 CY of silt was lost at permitted site 23 from Friday evenings thunderstorms. The project rain
gauge showed 1.0 " on Saturday morning. All erosion devices were in place but were overwhelmed. I
instructed English personnel to remove the silt on Saturday due to more severe weather predicted to hit the
project Saturday afternoon. I know that the agencies make the call on removal of silt but with the forecast
looking bad, I didn't want the silt to go further downstream. The project received between 1.5" to 2.0" of rain
on Saturday evening.
