As we discussed yesterday, please see some of the photos I grabbed from the wetland area over at Site III on the above project. This area is proposed to be under fill, so I instructed them not to bother removing the sediment loss. I also included a shot of that inlet pipe so that you could see it BEFORE the subsequent monsoon we had onsite yesterday. That storm event is what overwhelmed the cross pipe that fouled the stream just below. After you left yesterday, Kim, Doug and myself went around with the contractor and staff identifying areas that needed repair and clean out due to the storm. As the water recedes in these areas, clean up efforts continue. Site I(which is the ramp/loop system on the other side of Neelley road) also experienced some sediment loss—these areas are denoted as impact areas (last 2 pictures I've attached). They were completely underwater yesterday. As the water has lowered, sediment is visible. The contractor has been advised that any areas that are greater than 1" need to be removed by hand. Areas that are just a skim layer need seed and straw (rather than sediment removal). The pond WAS drained — it has since filled back up. As the water level lowers, any built up areas of sediment will also be removed. Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any other questions or concerns. I will swing by the project next week to put my eyes on the clean up efforts. Thanks and have a great weekend! Nik N E tl W W&„ilG. ; be ry A.. ^iu:; .
