Good Morning All,
I visited the subject site on Tuesday 01 Aug 2023. It appeared to be recovering
very well and I saw nothing amiss.
As such, I concur with DOTS request to discontinue vegetation monitoring at
the site.

Hi Tom and Hannah,
We reviewed the temporary impact site (which was the temporary detour) at the subject bridge over
Gibson Branch on Wednesday August 2, 2023. The impacts encompass approximately 0.11 acre.
Central (NCDOT's Monitoring and Stewardship Unit) has been monitoring the site. As you probably
know, this bridge was complete in 2019. 1 understand that NCDOT proposes to discontinue
vegetation monitoring at the temporary impact site.
Please see the attached photos of the area. I know that you both will likely need to review the site in
person, but we thought the recent photos may be helpful.
