Carolina.
NCDOT Division 11 is beginning the project development, environmental, and engineering studies
for the proposed bridge replacement, Bridge No. 980147 on SR 1581 (Dal Road) over an unnamed
tributary to Logan Creek in Yadkin County. The project proposes to replace the existing bridge over
an unnamed tributary to Logan Creek in Yadkin County, North Carolina, slightly west of the East
Bend township in Yadkin County. The project is scheduled for right-of-way in the fiscal year 2025
and construction in the fiscal year 2026. The coordinates of this project are approximately
36.202765,-80.548805. The attached figures depict the project location.
NCDOT staff or their consultants may be contacting you to request project -specific information.
While we do not expect a response to this notification, we welcome your input if you have time -
sensitive concerns. Your input will be used in the development of environmental documentation
prepared pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act and/or State Environmental Policy Act.
We would appreciate any information that may be helpful in evaluating the potential environmental
effects of the proposed project, as well as recommended alternatives to be considered. If applicable,
please identify any permits or approvals which may be required by your organization.
