Subject: The Edge: Chapel Hill On -Site Stream Assessment Meeting
Jennifer,
I just wanted to follow -up from our last meeting on this project. We have a field meeting with Craig Brown of
the Corps scheduled for June 11th to review the stream channel that will be impacted under the Nationwide
Permit that we will be submitting. We have conducted a NCSAM assessment on a portion of the channel and
believe approximately 100 linear feet would qualify for a waiver to the 300 -foot permit threshold due to its low
function/quality. It would be great if you could attend this meeting or whoever the DWR representative may be
that would be reviewing the 401 certification. We will also have more detailed plans at this visit and would like
to discuss needed information for the permit submittal specifically what level of detail the storm water plans
need to be which if you're around this week I would like to catch up on the stormwater issue when you get a
chance, thanks!
