Work within the corridor would be limited to transport of various dock components from the laydown area shown on the sketch. Structural components, connectors, and assembled dock sections would be moved through the corridor to the lake by a mid -size excavator with rubber tracks, the excavator would then lower them into the lake, where they would be off-loaded by others and floated into place to complete the marina facility. No excavation work is anticipated within the corridor; however, sediment and erosion control measures will be installed to protect any exposed soil surface, to prevent or reduce the release of sediment to surface waters, and to promote revegetation as soon as possible. Maintenance and or repair of existing surface features disturbed during transport of assembled dock components from the laydown area to the lake would be performed as needed.
