Dave, We had silt loss on the US 21 project at approximate station 299+20 It—L-. This area is identified on the plans as a
wetland area. The event was less than 1/2 " and NPDES was not required but found it while doing routine erosion
inspection.
During a rain event Tuesday evening, we had a failure at a downslope pipe that washed the slope out. The material from
the slope overloaded the silt fence. This material followed a natural channel that was about 3' wide by 25' long to a low
spot and collected in the low spot that was about a 10' diameter. All material was collected with shovels and buckets
and riparian seed was sown in disturbed area and mulched. We notified Heath about the loss yesterday. If you need any
