Drawer 357 Graham, NC 27253-0357 NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality July 18, 2023 SUBJECT: Compliance Evaluation Inspection Graham/Mebane Water Treatment Plant NPDES Permit #: NCO045292 Alamance County Dear Mr. Maness: On June 5th, 2023, Division of Water Resources staff Ron Boone conducted a routine compliance evaluation inspection at Graham/Mebane Water Treatment Plant, wastewater discharge permit NCG0045292. ORC Shelby Smith was present during the inspection. A review of records, data, treatment components, structures, and the outfall was completed. This inspection reflected compliance with the subject permit. A review of all records such as laboratory data and reports, the permit, operator's logs, etc. were reviewed. The plant site was also inspected, including the lagoons themselves and the outfall to Back Creek. No violations, issues, or items of concern were noted during the inspection. Please be aware that pursuant to North Carolina general statute (NCGS) 143-215.6A, the Division may assess civil penalties not to exceed $25,000 per day against any person who fails to fully comply with the requirements of a permit issued pursuant to NC General Statute (NCGS) 143- 215.1., as is NC0088552.
