On behalf of Carolina Water Service, Inc. of NC (CWSNC), please accept this letter in response
to the Brandywine Bay Notice of Violation and Intent to Assess Civil Penalty NOV-2023-LV-
0413.
C W SNC staff conducted a thorough investigation into the reported BOD daily maximum
exceedance that occurred on 04/19/2023 and the BOD monthly average exceedance that occurred
on 04/30/2023. Regretfully, we were unable to determine the specific cause of these incidents
despite comprehensive analysis. C WSNC understands the importance of maintaining compliance
with all limits outlined in permit WQ0007569 and are committed to meeting and surpassing
permitted regulatory standards. Our commitment to environmental stewardship is of upmost
