Hi John,
I sm finishing up my review/letter fort he 6109 Williams Court Project (20230507) and I wanted to darifysome information before proceeding to signature:
• There are currently no temporary Impacts l lsted In the buffer for construction of the on l khead/removal of trees. WI I l you need any temporary Impact for construction access In the buffer? If so,
please provide a square footage amount for me to include in my authorization.
• Forthe seawall/bulkhead, is your 752 sgft number coming from 288 linear feet x 4-foot-deepwellsI wanted to confirm the amount of square feet to include in my letterfor the structure/associated
fill.
• The tree removal will be Included in my buffer letter, and It will be acceptable to replant the trees removed In kind, however the trees that are planted with in the 50-foot buffer zone will need to be
native species. Please confirm which species will be replanted In place of the cypress trees. I have Included a restoration guide abovewith a list of native species for the specific regions.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thankyou,

Hi John,
Regarding the cypress trees, are you wanting to take them down during construction of the well itself and then replace them with inside of the bufferarea with
another native tree?

Kristl, I am going to resubmit this one without ID number and reference It to the site address 6109 Will —Cove. Hopefully you can correlate them and the fee
paid on October 15, 2022. Please advise.
Also, Zachary, my client wants to replace some of the cypress trees with another species due to the cypress knees and disruption to the well. Is this allowed with
mitigation replanting etc. The well will be in the water and not the buffer. Thanks foryour help. John

To submit a mod location, you do not necessarily need the OWE ID number, however without that number it can be difficult for the office
administrators toproperly match up paperwork.
You can find all available electronic forms under Division of Water Resources, 401 Water Qua l lty Forms using the fol l owing link:
httos://edocs.dea.nceov/Forms/form/new/80. Thiswill include formsfor Modification/New Project with Existing ID and new applications.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

to me
Hi John,
I spoke with folks in office and it seems the best way to proceed with potentially being able to permit this one will be to
move the wall to the shoreline and we can treat it as a true shoreline stabilization and review under both 404/401 and
buffer rules.
I would submit this one as a joint application. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
