Apex WRF currently does not have a reclaimed water system and never constructed the facilities to allow for a reclaimed water system. The permit was obtained in 2016 at a time when we had considered adding a reclaimed water system to our wastewater treatment plant. Due to the cost of obtaining the system, it was decided to be put on hold. The permit was kept and maintained in the event we decided to move forward. The permit # WQ0021863 was renewed in 2021 with a date of August 1, 2021 and Apex will be due to submit a renewal application no later than March 4, 2027. Please let me know if you have any further questions or need more information. I left a voice mail message for you as well. I have been tasked with performing an inspection of the above -referenced permit. Based on the file review, it appears that the Town of Apex has obtained this permit in case there is a need for such a facility, but that this facility has not yet been constructed. Can you confirm that this is the case, and/or provide me with any updates on the status of your permit?
