I.Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for TPB Town of Apex - Apex Peakway Southwest Connector (U-5928);

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on July 14, 2023 Town of Apex (PO Box 250 , Apex, NC 275020250) applied to
the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant to Section
401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is
sought regards New Road/Highway. The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is August 17,
2023.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on August
17, 2023. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form here:

401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
The application is available online. Information for accessing the application/ project information online may

The application is also available at the Raleigh Regional Office of the DWR and may be inspected with an
